An Inspiring Recognition: Onward to 2025!
INTRODUCTION
How can we create a stimulating and creative work environment for video game developers? What factors make a company in the digital entertainment industry a great place to work? These questions lie at the heart of our mission. In 2024, Frédérique Arsenault-Côté, senior recruiter at Beenox, brought these values to light. It was Frédérique herself who took the initiative to submit Beenox’s application to Great Place to Work Canada, the leading organization in workplace quality. Not only did our studio receive the coveted certification, but Frédérique was front and center to proudly and emotionally learn that Beenox was ranked among the Top 25 Employers in Canada in 2024 for companies with 100–999 employees.
These achievements in 2024 inspire us to aim even higher in 2025.
She shares her experience from the awards ceremony:
ANTICIPATION AND SURPRISE
“We had no idea where we would rank, other than being in the top 100 out of 900, which was already a great achievement,” Frédérique tells us. She was accompanied by Elisabeth Daigle, HR Partner at our Montreal office.
“The event took place in Toronto and was truly enjoyable,” she adds.
For many companies in attendance, it was a moment of celebration and team bonding where one could feel the positive energy generated by the competition.
This accomplishment in 2024 sparked a wave of enthusiasm and pride that continues to fuel our efforts today.
Frédérique adds: “We were so eager to find out our ranking. Learning it during the event was fantastic." This was followed by other recognitions in the weeks ahead, including:

“It was inspiring to see all these companies putting people at the center of their priorities,” shared Élisabeth.
Among the recognitions we received, we are particularly honored to have been recognized for inclusion.
I am incredibly grateful for our nomination among Canada’s top employers, as well as our recognitions for inclusion, mental wellness, and women’s leadership. These achievements are a testament to the commitment of everyone at Beenox to create an environment where people feel fulfilled, valued, and authentic.
